THANKSGIVING OUTREACH 2018!

Every Thanksgiving Season, The Journey Church, organized by The Ricciardo Family, reaches out to our church members and ask for assistance to help our community that is in need. So many of our neighbors are barely getting by, living in shelters and are unable to obtain enough food to feed their families. This act of kindness will let them know they are not forgotten.

Thursday, November 15th, at 6:30pm, volunteers are needed to go shopping for food items and put together Thanksgiving Baskets for our fellow brothers and sisters in need. We’ll be meeting at the church at 6:30pm and should be done around 8:30pm. There’ll be refreshments and worship music for your entertainment.

Saturday, November 17th, at 10:00am & 12:00pm, volunteers are needed to deliver the baskets locally. We’ll be meeting at the church at 9:45am.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’”
